Canine Grooming Secrets and Super Styling Sessions are the creations of two of the nation’s most skilled, knowledgeable and recognized groomers: Sue Zecco  and Jay Scruggs.
Although geographically distant from one another, their professional paths have been remarkably similar. Both started their careers as groomers, then became owners of grooming businesses, and later entered the competitive arena -- first as groomers, then as judges.
Sue was born in Worcester MA and now lives in nearby Oakham (everything is “nearby” in a state the size of Massachusetts). Jay is a native of the Memphis TN area and lives in suburban Germantown.
Sue graduated from an animal care program at Holliston Junior College in 1977 and immediately launched her own business, the Pampered Pet Dog Grooming Shop. Since then , she’s won a host of national and international awards while competing, speaking and judging in nine countries. More about Sue.
Jay attended Northwest Community College, Mississippi State University, and Nash Academy. With his wife, Michelle, he has operated Here Comes the Groom, a mobile grooming service, for more than 13 years. Jay has been winning international competitive grooming honors for almost a decade. Together,Sue and Jay have been teaching seminars and producing educational and training videos for groomers for several years. Some 0000 have completed their seminars and are listed here for the convenience of visitors who may need grooming services near their home communities.
