Upcoming Events
Fall is going to be a busy season for us. August involved a road trip for Sue, Alicia Arinella and our On The Leesh production company to Jay’s home in Tennessee to shoot more DVDs. [We managed a visit to Elvis Presley’s Graceland while there.]
A day later, we were off to Chicago for Sally and Jerry Schinberg’s All American Grooming Show to kick off our newest Canine Grooming Secrets program. [We apologize for any misunderstandings over the concept. The program was geared toward the competitive groomer but the description was omitted from the catalog advertisement. We adjusted to the mixed audience by incorporating shop as well as competitive grooming into the program and had a great day with a great group of people, and some really awesome dogs to work on.
This month we are off in different directions. Sue will be at the GroomExpo show in Hershey, PA. She will be busy in the Wahl booth doing mini grooming demonstrations all weekend. We are pleased to announce that Al Davis of Davis Manufacturing has agreed to bring our line of Super Styling Sessions grooming DVDs to Hershey for Groom Expo.
Jay is going farther away. He and his beautiful wife Michelle will be at the Pet Industry Association of Australia's annual trade show and competition. Jay will be a judge and grooming demonstrator. Again, we are pleased to have a new distributor down under. Challenge Dog Products has agreed to distribute our Super Styling Sessions Grooming DVDs in Australia.
October will be even busier. Sue will start the month in Chicago coordinating the Celebration of Style Grooming competition at the H.H.Backer Annual Christmas Trade Show with long time friend Patty Allard.
The following two weekends are back to back Super Styling Sessions. The first will be on Oct 12th in Louisville, KY. The next weekend we will zip off to Houston, TX for another seminar on Oct 19th. To register for either of these events please go to www.groomerschoice.com .
We will end the month together in Orlando FL at the NDGAA show. This is always a fun show for us. We will have a booth and will stage another seminar that we created called "Subtle Changes." This is a fun program where we take dogs from the contest ring, usually from the entry level classes, and make the subtle changes necessary for that dog to win its next class. This is usually a standing room only seminar, so we believe it is enjoyed by all.
We’ll also launch a new REFERRAL PROGRAM in September. Those who refer people who PURCHASE one of our 14 Super Styling Sessions Grooming DVDs will receive one Super Styling Session DVD of their choice. Those placing orders need only type the names of those who referred them in the “special instructions” box.
We’ll keep track of the numbers, notify you when you’ve reached five, and send you the Super Styling Session dvd of your choice. We’d like to thank all who have supported us by purchasing our DVDs. Their wonderful comments and compliments have made this effort worthwhile.
Clothing Line From Spain.
Sue has agreed to bring a beautiful line of grooming apparel into the U.S. from Barcelona, Spain. The quality and style of the clothing are like nothing now available in North America.
Those who were at the All American Show in Chicago last month saw the line in person. The colors are bright, the material is very pretty and durable. And the garments bring style back to our grooming clothes. Sue is working on a website that will be linked to this site so the clothing can be seen and purchased on line. Stay tuned for more information on when it is complete.
